April has been a photographer for as long as she can remember. She received her first 35mm camera when she was in middle school, and grew up capturing family gatherings with her grandma's Polaroid camera. While April deeply treasures film photography, digital photography continues to amaze her in all that it can do and accomplish. She shot her first wedding back in 2007 and has been shooting them off and on since then. April graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art with a concentration in Photography from Texas Woman’s University. April has been apart of four exhibitions in the East and West Galleries at TWU, as well as being published in Parade Magazine back in 2007. She was a recipient of the Grant Halliburton Scholarship for her senior show art piece, and had the privilege to graduate as a Hendrick Scholarship student. April is passionate about Jesus and what He is doing on college campuses around the world. She supports a college ministry called F.O.C.U.S. located on campuses in the DFW area. Additionally, she is a member of Arlington Central Church in Arlington, TX. To learn more about the college ministry, go to www.anyfocus.org
